| 1 :01x01 - In His Father's House (Dec/04/1981) | | Following the death of a family member, two conflicting heads of a wine producing family decide to put their differences aside for his funeral. After learning that Emma was involved with Jason’s death, Angela decides to cover for her to keep her safe, only to have Emma feel guilty for her actions. When Chase and Maggie are traveling home for the funeral, he begins to remember all the fun times he had at the vineyard and decides to move his family back to Falcon Crest after realizing his long absence has taken its toll on the family. Unhappy at the prospect of Chase and Maggie moving back to the vineyard, Angela thinks of a way to get rid of them. | 2 :01x02 - A Time for Saboteurs (Dec/11/1981) | | When Chase’s old friend Paul comes to visit him at Falcon Crest, they begin reminiscing about the time they spent flying in the Air Force. After their trip down memory lane, the duo decides to put their plan of starting a flying service into action, only to disagree on where it should be located. It is at this point that Angela and the rest of the family discover that Paul has no desire to start a flying service; it was only a lie to get a large amount of money from Chase to cover his gambling debt. However, when Gus tells him that there is another buyer interested in paying a higher price for his grapes; Chase decides to sell to him. But when Angela finds out about their business deal, she decides to buy the man’s mortgage from the bank so he has to back out of the deal with Chase. | 4 :01x04 - The Harvest (Dec/25/1981) | | With Lance’s recent irresponsible behavior, Angela threatens to keep him from one day owning Falcon Crest. When he learns of Angela’s feelings toward him, Lance decides to prove his worth to her by blowing up Chase’s pump house, but only earns more of her scorn. He then attempts to make Angel happy by paying off Chase’s workers once the grape harvest begins. After this happens, she attempts to court Cole in order to make him the heir to Falcon Crest and to make Lance jealous. When he tries to straighten things out with the workers, Chase tries to get Cole back in the fold with his family. After Cole learns of what’s going on with the workers, he decides to go back home and help the family out. It is at this point that Chase learned of what Angela did and ultimately confronts her about her actions. As a result, his workers arrive back on the grounds and continue in the grape harvest.
