Episode discussion for: 02x10 | A More Perfect Union (Aug 19, 2012)

A whole squad of skitters manages to get inside the city of Charleston and no one fires a single shot at them?

And Tom manages to kill the overload by himself with a stick?

Looks like the writers' let their children write this one.

Always haters. If they didnt get in someone would b***h that they arn't threating.

You have to have 'Suspension of disbelief' - because yes, we KNOW the Military was PERFECT in protecting EVERYONE - even though they let half the population of charleston run out in the end. The military in charleston could'nt have every exit blocked, every tunnel covered, and with the skidders resolve I see no problem in them breaking the defenses and sliding by.

And how else was the overlord supposed to die? A random gunshot? Cmon.

Nitpicking.

looks like you must have dosed off or eaten lsd before you saw this episode, first of all it wasnt just a stick neither it was one of those "glowing torture stick" that the harnesseed little b***h was using to torture the pregnante doc. and i realy liked that it was done up close and personal like that. this was the best episode yet by far... and that says a whole lot!!! i freaking love this show!!!

I was awake, and I saw it was a torture stick, but he used it as a club. I also saw the Overlord fling a skitter all the way across the cavern, and produce a spear-like projection out of it's arm and kill the skitter. I also saw Tom yell out his warcry as he charged across the room like he was trying out for Braveheart, giving the Overlord plenty of warning. Yet Tom is able to beat the Overlord to death without getting a scratch. Pretty wimpy alien if you ask me.

You also forgetting they NEVER fight, they have others do that for them - so why would he be any good at self-defense, as he never puts himself in jepordy.
