Fantastic Adventure Through Suburban WastelandRating: 6 likes, 8 dislikes
This series starts at a point I wish series like "V" could have reached: the post-alient-invasion wasteland where survivors are trying to evade capture and use guerrilla tactics to do damage wherever they can, not to mention trying to figure out what the aliens want with Earth.

Season 1 followed a group of survivors as they retreated from the city to a series of suburban hideouts, and encounter other bands of survivors both friendly and unfriendly. The central figure, Tom Mason (Noah Wiley), puts a very human face on the struggle; as a father of 3 and a leader within the community he has to choose between the alluring safety of continued retreat and the value of strategic offensives.

My favorite character so far has to be Pope (Colin Cunningham). He leads a small band of unscrupulous marauders with allegiance to neither the aliens nor their fellow humans. Pope however, proves unpredictable and shows potential for growth. His flair for the dramatic and his ever-shifting motives make for an exciting show.

Season 1 ended in a pretty exciting fashion that shows this series isn't standing still. Can't wait for the second season.
