Joe Swanson, voiced by Patrick Warburton

Joe Swanson, along with his wife Bonnie Swanson and their son Kevin Swanson, were first introduced in the episode “A Hero Sits Next Door”.
Joe is a highly decorated police officer and superb athlete.
Joe is paralyzed from the waist down and we learn in this episode he received his injury trying to prevent The Grinch from stealing toys from an orphanage.

In the episode “Believe It or Not Joe's Walking on Air”, Joe decided to get a leg transplant operation which was successful but after he dumped his friends & left Bonnie, Peter, Glen and Cleveland decided they needed to get their friend back by re-crippling him.
They attempted to beat the stuffing out of him but failed and that left Bonnie to attempt to shoot him in the back. Unfortunately she's a bad shot and he had to do it himself.

On February 15, 2009, in the episode “Ocean's Three and a Half” he and Bonnie welcomed their new baby girl into the world named Susie Swanson.
They unfortunately still only have one child since it was revealed in “Stew-Roids”, Joe & Bonnie's son Kevin was dead. He died in Iraq.
