Episode Notes
“Brian & Stewie” was seen by 7.688 million viewers

“Brian & Stewie” is being promoted as Family Guy's 150th episode even though it is actually the 143rd episode to air.
It is however, the 150th episode to be produced.

A twenty minute Family Guy musical special followed “Brian & Stewie” as part of “FOX Rocks”, a musical element that flowed through all three of FOX's Sunday shows.

“Brian & Stewie” was touted as being the first episode with no cutaways or flashbacks, however “Family Guy Viewer Mail #1” is technically the first one to claim that title.

Granted the formats for the episodes are different, “Brian & Stewie” being one continuous story and “Mail” being 3 short stories contained in one episode but none of the three stories contained any flashbacks or cutaways.

Episode Goofs
Brian is horrified that Stewie suggests he consumes the contents of his diaper but in a past episode Brian admitted eating one of Stewie's diapers because he thought it was Indian food.

Episode References
When trying to figure out a way to escape the bank vault, Brian mentions the fact Stewie invented a time machine in “Road to Germany” but can't think of a way to escape the vault.
