  Episode Quotes
Meg: I miss Uncle Patrick.
Lois: Don’t worry kids I promise we can visit him once a month
Chris: We’ll be his period.

Brian: Mr. President, there been a hurricane in New Oreleans.
George W. Bush: (In a treehouse) Go away, I'm readin' Superfudge.
Brian: Mr. President, this is a national emergency, you got to come deal with this.
Geroge W. Bush: Don't make me do stuff.

Announcer: "Hey kids of america, its hand painted wooden ball-in-a-cup, Mexico's favorite toy for over 340 years. Who needs constant video game stimulation when theres ball-in-a-cup? You just toss the ball, catch it in the cup, dump it out of the cup, toss it, and catch it in the cup again. The ball is on a string and attached to the cup, so theres no worry if you dont catch the ball in the cup. And clean up is as easy as catching a ball, in a cup. So why spend another day not catching a ball in a cup when you can be catching a ball-in-a-cup?"
Jingle: " Ball in a cup, Ball in a cup its a ball in a cup!"
Kid: "Ball in a cup!"
Jingle: "Ball in a cup"

Stewie: (while playing with his ball-in-a-cup) Aw, I missed the cup. Hey but its okay because there's a string attached to the cup!

Stewie: Yeah, so there's a half dead fat guy eating another dead guy.
(Everyone keeps watching TV completely ignoring him)
Stewie: Yeah, so we're just gonna look the other way then?

  Episode Goofs
If Lois' mom really wanted to keep Patrick a secret wouldn't she have cut the picture of him out rather than just folding it back?

Brian: That's for rolling the window uup on me when I tried to jump into the General Lee!

As said before, Brian is referring to the episode "To Love and Die in Dixie" but in that episode Peter did not actually roll the window up it was just never rolled down.

  Cultural References
Ball In a Cup!

Ball In A Cup! Is a real game. It is very old, a classic. The old commercials used to promote it are very similar to the one seen in this episode.

George W. Bush: Don't make me do stuff.

George W. Bush is highly critisized for his slow response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

  Episode References
Brian: That's for closing the rolling window up on me when I tried to jump into the General Lee!

Brian is obviously referring to a scene in a previous episode "To Love and Die in Dixie" where he tried to jump into the window of the General Lee but hit the window.
