Episode Goofs
Stewie states he, Brian & Mort arrive 30 seconds before Mort originally came upstairs to use the bathroom so he pushes Mort into the time machine and blows it and Mort up.

Problem is there's still a second Stewie and Brian downstairs watching TV.

When Stewie bumps into Hitler, he is several steps inside the doorway but when they mirror each others movements Hitler is several steps outside the door frame.

When Stewie, Brian and Mort go over the waterfall they hit several protruding rocks on the way down that are centered in the middle of the falls but when we see the falls from a distance, the rocks aren't there.

When we see Stewie's room from the hallway he has 'STEWIE'S ROOM' and 'STAY OUT BRIAN' on his door but when the shot changes to inside the room & Brian opens the door, the signs are missing.

Cultural References
During the opening credits, Brian & Stewie imitate 'Cabaret', 'The Sound of Music' & 'Patton'

Little Shop of Horrors

Movie from 1986 starring Rick Moranis where he sings the narration just like the episode.

The wedding announcement says Goldman-Stivic wedding. 'Stivic' may be a allusion to 'All In The Family' and Michael Stivic, the man Archie's daughter marries who's the butt to many a Polish joke.

Stewie: "Hey buddy I need to borrow this"

During the Nazi car chase Stewie begins to imitate the skateboard scene complete w/ music from 'Back to the Future'

Brian: "The other appears to be Terrance Trent Darby"

While listening to the sonar, the blips play the partial tune of Terrence Trent Darby's 1987 song 'Wishing Well'

The Blues Brothers

After the Nazi U-Boat crashes, police cars crash in a pile similar to the post mall car chase from The Blues Brothers

Brian: "Maybe because they don't have any oil"

(Obvious) Reference to the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Flash Gordon

The winged soldier who says "Stand by my Hawkmen! DIVE!" is the character Prince Vultan from the 1980 film 'Flash Gordon'. The scene uses the same music from the film.

Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom

Stewie, Brian & Mort's escape from the RAF plane via the inflatable raft is a direct scene from 'The Temple of Doom' complete w/ the Indy theme song.

German Scientist: "We're having much better luck developing this impressive collection of 100 luftballons"

Allusion to the 1983 Cold War-era protest song '99 Luftballons' (99 Red Balloons) by the German group Nena

Mean Joe Greene: "Hey kid... Catch."
Stewie: "Thanks Mean Joe"

Reference to a 1979 Coca-Cola commercial.
Mean Joe throws his jersey to a kid after he gives him his Coke.

Duck Soup

Stewie and Hitler mirroring each other in the doorway is an allusion to a similar scene in the 1933 Marx Brothers movie 'Duck Soup'.
