Episode Quotes
Peter: Three days? That's tomorrow.

Peter: Brian, there's a message in my Alphabits! It says, 'Oooooo!'
Brian: - Peter, those are 'Cheerios'.

Brian: Oh, dear god. You saw them together, didn't you?
Stewie: Uh huh...
Brian: ...You know the tub where you take your little baths? ...They did it there too.
(Stewie gasps)

Chris: Dad, what would you say if I told I didn't want to be in the Scouts?
Peter: I'd say, ''Come again?'' and I'd laugh 'cause I said, ''Come''.

Lois: Hey I know, lets play a game. Now I'm thinking of a movie.
Meg: Is it an action movie?
Chris: Who's in the movie?
Peter: Wait, is it a good movie?
Lois: Eh, it has its moments.
Peter: Cool Runnings
Lois: Yep!

Episode Goofs
If you look closely, you'll notice that Leonard Cornfeathers' neck is a different color than his hands and face.

When Chris sits on the bed, it goes down slightly, but when Meg sits on it, it goes down a good amount. This would mean that she weighs more than Chris, which is clearly impossible.

When the Griffins are seen before the “Happy Days” scene, Stewie is sitting in Lois' lap.
After the scene, when it cuts back to the Griffins, Stewie is suddenly reading a blue book.

Also, when Peter sits down, the book's color has changed to red.

“One Day At A Time” was a CBS sitcom & wouldn't be aired on PBS

Brian's tag on his collar is missing before the Happy Days cutaway

Cultural References
“Happy Days”

The family watches an episode of the long running sitcom “Happy Days” (1974-1984) in which the character “Richie Cunningham” (who was played by Ron Howard) expresses his attraction to another character “Potsie” (Anson Williams).
The rest of the Cunningham family, “Marion” (Marion Ross), “Howard” (Tom Bosley) & “Joanie” (Erin Moran) also appear with “Joanie” having no lines.

“The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) appears after Peter joins the family to watch.

“Mahha GoGoGo” aka “Speed Racer” (English title)

The characters “Speed Racer” & “Pops Racer” from the anime series “Speed Racer” (1967-1968) appear competing in Chris' soap box derby race and later commenting on the Griffins going to New York.

Peter: “Who died and made you President Nixon”

Richard Milhous Nixon (January 9, 1913 – April 22, 1994) was the thirty-seventh President of the United States (1969–1974), and the only president to ever resign the office. He was also the thirty-sixth Vice President of the United States (1953–1961).

Stewie: “Oooo Jello, how exotic. I feel like I'm on the deck of the QE2”

RMS Queen Elizabeth 2, or simply the “QE2”, was a transatlantic ocean liner.
She retired from active service on 27 November 2008.

Peter: “Well we almost got that one for insect study.”
{Cutaway}
“Look Chris, it's a whole family of wasps”

Instead of the insect, Peter & Chris observe a family eating dinner. In this case they are observing a family of “White Anglo-Saxon Protestants” aka “WASPs”

Lois: “I brought your Raffi tape”

Raffi is a Canadian children's singer

The family plays 20 Questions with the answer being the 1993 John Candy comedy “Cool Runnings”

Announcer: “We interrupt this program for several episodes of 'One Day At A Time'”

“One Day at a Time” (1975-1984) was a CBS sitcom starring Bonnie Franklin, Valerie Bertinelli, Mackenzie Phillips & Pat Harrington Jr.

The characters of “Ann Romano” (Franklin) & “Dwayne F. Schneider” (Harrington) exchange quips w/ “Julie” (Phillips) not having any lines.

Written on sign: “Now Appearing - Carrot Scalp”

Parody of prop comic “Carrot Top” aka Scott Thompson

Peter: “...I just need to back into the casino & find a high roller to pay a million dollars to sleep with my wife”

This is the essential plot in the 1993 movie “Indecent Proposal”.
In it married couple “David Murphy” & “Diana Murphy” (played by Woody Harrelson & Demi Moore) receive an offer of a million dollars from “John Gage” (played by Robert Redford)

Peter: “...he was a rainmaker”

Peter's fake Native American ancestor Chief Grand Cherokee does his rain dance w/ lyrics from The Pointer Sister's 1984 song “Neutron Dance”

Peter: “Remember that time I pretended to be gay”

Peter: “This isn't the first time I've had to find food in the wild”

Peter once dressed as the Big Bad Wolf to scare Little Red Riding Hood

Peter: “Shouldn't you be in the middle of a Tuscadero sandwich?”

Another allusion to the sitcom “Happy Days” and the character of “Pinky Tuscadero” & her sister “Leather Tuscadero”.
Pinky was a former love interest for the Fonz

The trees sing the song “Cat's in the Cradle”, a 1974 folk rock song by Harry Chapin from the album “Verities & Balderdash”
