  Episode Quotes
Pawtucket Pat: Take a drink,
and you'll sink,
to a state of pure inebriation.
You'll be tanked,
like the whole Irish nation.
When you drink enough of my beer,
you will find this magic brew'll,
Make your every joke a jewel.
You'll drive drunker than Oksana Bayul.
Go on buds drink my suds,
'till you've reached that pure inebriation.
though the beer may be free,
you're just renting it from me.

Cleveland: He's tasting victory. I bet it tastes good, like salt-water taffy or a Chunky.

Peter: It's like I died and went to heaven...but then they realized that it wasn't my time and sent me back to a brewery."

Peter: Beer that never goes flat. Do you know what that means, Brian? This beer will still be carbonated long after you die of old age and we buy another dog to help the kids ... y'know, forget about you.

Peter: Lois, everyone has their sanctuary. The Catholics have churches, fat people have Wisconsin, and I have the Pawtucket Brewery.

Lois: You're drunk again.
Peter: No, I'm just exhausted 'cause I've been up all night drinking.

Lois: Oh, my God! You can only play the piano when you're drunk!
Peter: Now that's not true! I can also vomit, fall down and make dirty calls to your sister when I'm drunk!

Peter: (when he's hungover) This sucks worse than that time I went to that museum. (Flashback to childhood, standing in museum looking at dinosaur
skeltons.)

Peter: (as a child) Why did all the dinosaurs die out?
Man at Museum: Because you touch yourself at night.

Mafia guy: You come to me and ask me to kill a man I do not know. Now I ask you, why should I kill this "Count Chocula"?
Captain Crunch: Because that son of a bitch has been spreading lies! My cereal does not cut the roof of your mouth! With all respect.

Host: This one for Peter Griffin and Tony Randall.
Announcer: The password is "flaming".
Peter: You...
Tony: Actor.
Peter: You...
Tony: Tony?
Peter: You...

Peter: Hey, guys! Check it out. Quagmire's trying to get lucky.
Quagmire: Hey, gorgeous! You want to come home with me?
Lady: I'm with my husband.
Quagmire: Lose the zero, get with the hero!
(Husband punches Quagmire.)
Quagmire: Little violent for you, don't you think?
(Husband punches Quagmire again.)
Quagmire: I'll be right over there.

Lois: Have you been drinking?
Peter: Why, yes, I have. Thank you.

Peter: The lesson here is that abusing alcohol has absolutely no negative consequences. You have your trophy and my brain cells are just fine.

  Episode Goofs
There's a book next to Meg who is sitting on the couch while she is talking to Lois who is talking to Meg. However, when Peter returns home with beer, the book is gone.

Peter drinks a glass of beer, with the quarter still in it, and then the scene cuts to a flashback. When it returns, the glass is full again, and remains that way.

  Cultural References
Peter's Last Brain Cell: Hello? Where is everybody? I'm the only brain cell left! At least I have my books. (it's glasses fall off and shatter to pieces) No... no... no, that's not fair! That's not fair! There was time now! It's NOT FAIR!

This is a very very obvious reference to a famous episode of the Twilight Zone, in which one man who loves to read, is suddenly the last man on earth. He is finally alone to read all his books but when he bends down to pick one up, his glasses fall and break.

Peter and Brian Farting

This is similar to what happend during "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory". When the only way to stop floating was by burping.

The Pawtucket Brewery

The entire tour in the brewery is a spoof of the famous book, and film Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.

The Other Silver Scroll Winners

Two of the people there look eerily similar to Charlie and his grandpa from the film Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.
