Episode Quotes
Quagmire: Hey there Gorgeous, how old are you?
Connie: 16
Quagmire: 18?
Connie: Mom!
Quagmire: I Like where this is goin'

Meg: Everybody! Guess what I am?
Stewie: Hmm, the end result of a drunken back seat grope-fest and a broken prophylactic?

Anouncer: Remember... Guns don't kill people, dangerous minorities do.

Lois: Oh, Peter! Isn't she beautiful?
Peter: Yeah, but I think she's with that guy, they've been holding hands all night.
Lois: Peter! I mean Meg!
Peter: Oh, yeah, she's hot.

Doctor: Well Rudolf, we finally figured out what makes your nose red.
Rudolf: Is it pixie dust or leprechaun tails?
Doctor: No, it's a tumor.
Rudolf: You mean like a magical Christmas tumor?
Doctor: No, a malignant tumor.

Meg: Mom guess what! I made the Flag Girl squad
Stewie: Flag Girl? Ummmm, yes good for you... Now you can be somewhere else when the boys don't call!

Peter: Lois, um, go get the medical dictionary and look up 'fork' and 'lung'.
Lois: Why?
Peter: Time is a factor, Lois.

Peter: First one to the marker where that Pakistani girl fell through the ice after coming to the States to get treatment for her severely burned face which she got when the man she refused to marry dumped sulphuric acid on her wins. I win!

Episode Goofs
Chris' sign has the letters 'QHS' (Quahog High School) printed on it, when Meg actually goes to "James Woods High School".

Granted this could simply be explained away by Chris' stupidity.

The quarterback in the football game is black, but his hands appear to be white. Then after he is tackled, his hands become black.

When Lois is finished her figure “8”, she skates next to Meg who is standing on the bottom edge of the “8” (as the camera sees it) but when the scene expands out, suddenly they are both standing in the center of the “8”.

The Griffins are seen surrounded by people in the stands w/ at least 5 rows behind them, but moments later they are sitting at the almost very top of the stands with no one behind them.

The porch door was left open, but in the far shot of the CD in the air it's suddenly closed.

The screened porch door is closed but when Chris opens it, it's solid on the other side & becomes screened when Stewie mentions the swimmin' hole.

Twice during Peter & Chris' hunting trip, Peter's gloves vanish momentarily.

The gun that was dropped in the snow vanishes when Peter & Chris get up to leave.

Cultural References
Lois: “Look Meg, I'm that pretty dark haired figure skater with the horse teeth, you know the one who got what she had coming”

Lois is speaking of Nancy Kerrigan, the bronze medal winner at the 1992 Winter Olympics.
The thing “she had coming” was an incident when she was clubbed in the knee by Shane Stant at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit. Stant had been hired to assault her by Tonya Harding's ex-husband Jeff Gillooly and friend Shawn Eckardt.

Stewie: “Nice shot. Made my brown eye blue with that one”

Reference to the 1977 Crystal Gayle song, “Don't It Make My Brown Eyes”

Stewie: “Now is the winter of your discontent!”

This is a line from William Shakespeare's “Richard III”

Peter: “Ahhh It's acid girl! It's acid girl!”

The arm reaching through the ice to grab Peter might be a reference to the final scene in 1976's “Carrie”, when in a dream sequence the dead hand of Carrie reaches from the grave to grab Sue

Connie: “Peter Rabbit would be wise to stay out of Mr. McGregor's garden”

Reference to the series of children's books about Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter

Peter: “Yes! I win again Andy”
Andy: “Come on mate, one more before the misses notices I'm not snoozing on the couch”

Peter plays darts with the comic strip character “Andy Capp”.
Andy Capp is a long-running British comic strip character created by Reginald Smythe, seen in the The Daily Mirror and The Sunday Mirror newspapers since August 5, 1957.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer realizes why his nose glows red

Peter: “I'm the white Larry Bird”

Larry Bird is a retired American NBA basketball player from the Boston Celtics. Incidentally, Peter doesn't seem to realize that Larry is indeed white.

Stewie: “I know what it takes to be cool”

Stewie does a flawless impression of William Shatner when he performed a spoken word version of Elton John's 1972 song, “Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time)”, he did at a 1978 SciFi awards show

A Stormtrooper is seen at the firing range having target practice with a cardboard cutout of Luke Skywalker

Peter does some skeet shooting with Janet Jackson's 1997 CD “Velvet Rope”

Lois: “I used to date the pyro guy from Whitesnake”

“Whitesnake” is an English hard rock band, founded in 1977 by David Coverdale (formerly of Deep Purple)

Peter: “Son, son, I told. Out here in the wilderness, call me Rooster Cogburn”

Reference to the 1975 John Wayne movie “Rooster Cogburn”

Chris: “...stay tuned for an all new Ally McBeal”

FOX's show “Ally McBeal” (1997-2002) is used to scare away a bear
