| Blue Harvest |
 |
Released On: January 15, 2008 Region: 1 Production Company: 20th Century Fox
Description: A long time ago, but somehow in the future, Fox Home Entertainment presents an outrageous look at the Star Wars universe when Family Guy Presents: "Blue Harvest" parodies the movie that started it all - Episode IV: A New Hope - on DVD on January 15. In the season premiere of the offensively uproarious series' sixth season, "Blue Harvest" finds Peter, Lois, Chris, Stewie, Brian and some of Quahog's finest in the middle of George Lucas' beloved science-fiction epic. Feel the Farce in the most irreverent and hilarious way possible; with Han Solo (Peter) Dumpster diving for furniture; Darth Vader (Stewie) soiling his diapers; Luke (Chris) battling against "Thai" fighters; and C-3PO (Quagmire) flirting with a 1980s dot-matrix printer. Featuring hysterical cameos from Rush Limbaugh, Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo and Helen Reddy, Family Guy Presents: "Blue Harvest" is "a dead-on homage that hilariously picks apart Star Wars, along with much of real life" (Associated Press). The DVD features more than four minutes of never-before-seen material; an uncensored track; animatics; commentaries; interviews with Seth MacFarlane and George Lucas; and a first look at a now-in-production "Family Guy" Star Wars spoof (which goes by the working title of "Something, Something, Something Dark Side").

| Happy Freakin Christmas |
|
Released On: November 27, 2006 Region: 2 Production Company: 20th Century Fox
Description: The holidays go haywire for the Griffins when Peter raids a trailer park to retrieve his misplaced family gifts while Lois loses it to holiday stress, going on a rampage and scaling Quahog's Christmas tree. Lois is downed by a tranquilising sniper while Stewie makes a heartwarming discovery. There is Santa Claus - and he will deliver plutonium.
Christmas turns out to be, well, Christmas, compared to a Y2K New Years nuclear apocalypse that destroys everything except for Griffins, cockroaches and Twinkies. Undeterred by the end of civilisation, the family goes into a deranged survivalist mode while Stewie mutates - which causes him to change a lot more than his diapers.

| Compendium: Seasons 1-5 |
|
Released On: October 30, 2006 Region: 2 Production Company: 20th Century Fox
Description: If you like your animation to have a backbone, you'll love this collection of the first five hilarious seasons of “Family Guy”. Creator Seth McFarlane has developed a twisted town populated with bizarre characters that will seriously tickle your funny bone.
The main focus of the show is the Griffin family, consisting of idiotic father Peter, put-upon wife Lois, smart-yet-ugly daughter Meg, mentally-challenged son Chris and the hilarious homicidal baby Stewie. Sharing the family home is the martini-swilling, talking dog Brian who has a rather dodgy crush on the home's matriarch. It's certainly not your average family, but they provide a dangerously high quota of politically-incorrect and downright offensive humour that will have you entirely hooked. Their home town of Quahog is littered with larger than life characters that manage to be disturbing at the same time as recognisably mundane.
Sporting a unique brand of humour, the superb scripts combine intelligent satire, witty parodies, surrealist visual and low-brow scatological gags that create an entirely original animation show. Musical numbers and random fantasies and flashbacks punctuate the action, heightening the comedy and marking this show out as a one of a kind.

| Freakin Sweet Collection |
|
Released On: April 25, 2005 Region: 2 Production Company: 20th Century Fox
Description: Cancelled in 2002, this irreverent animated series proved to be a phenomenal seller on DVD, prompting the creation of a brand new fourth series. For those who have only recently made the acquaintance of the dysfunctional Griffins, this five-episode sampler is representative of the series “nothing is sacred” comic universe. Creator Seth MacFarlane chose well: “When You Wish Upon A Weinstein”, which was banned during the series' original run: “Lethal Weapons”: “To Live And Die In Dixie”; “I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar”; and “Road To Rhode Island”. In addition to the restoration of a previously censored gag involving Osama Bin Laden in “Rhode Island”, what does this collection bring to the part for the Family Guy fan who has everything?
Four new episode commentaries, the best of which features MacFarlane in character as chain-smoking, Martini swilling, talking dog Brian, and megalomaniacal infant Stewie for “Rhode Island”. There is also an interview with MacFarlane about why he chose these episodes, and a fitfully amusing sneak peak at MacFarlane's new series, American Dad.
Features Five Classic Episodes Hand Picked By Creator Seth MacFarlane:
* When You Wish Upon A Weinstein (Uncut Version)
* Road To Rhode Island (Uncut Version)
* To Live And Die In Dixie
* I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar
* Lethal Weapon
