Johnny is driving down a street in a high-tech car, and complaining about the fact that he is a robot magnet because there is a Kree Sentry following him. The thing begins to shoot a laser at Johnny, and he accelerates even harder so that he can try to avoid the robot, but it continues to follow Johnny is pursuit. Johnny then begins to get warnings from Reed about not striking the robot until there is backup for him. This goes right over Johnny's head, and he turns into the Human Torch in order to prepare for battle. Johnny fliesthrough the sun roof of his car and up to the robot. However, due to his actions, the car hits the wall of a nearby building and explodes on impact. Reed, a witness to this, begins to wonder why Johnny didn't understand to not go after the robot, so Ben replies with a comment about Johnny having lost Reed when he said the word "don't." Reed gives another warning, but Johnny ignores it once more, and begins to attack the Kree Sentry, burning it with his flames. Though the robot is not destroyed, Johnny yet again attacks it using his flames, destroying it once and for all. After destroying the robot, Johnny begins to gloat about how he destroyed the robot as the rest of the Fantastic Four appear. Johnny suddenly disappears. Susan screams, worried about her brother, saying that the robot vaporized the Human Torch. Reed assures her that robot didn't vaporize him, it merely transported him. She doesn't find that reassuring, and faints...

Mr. Fantastic: (to Susan) Definitely. Your brother is hardly an optimal choice for first contact with an advanced civilization.
Mr. Fantastic: (to Thing) Odd. Was there anything even remotely inaccurate about my statement?
Mr. Fantastic: But we’re supposed to be the guests of honor at the orphange fundraiser… and we’re already late…
The Thing: I’ll cover. They just wanna freak show, an’ I qualify. You got the hard job.
