Fantasy Island: The Comic/The Golden Hour

In the first premise Roarke allows Jerry Burton to step into the limelight and tell his jokes. Burton, the behind-the-scene man for top comedian Danny Baker, has always wanted to be a top star, and now he gets that chance. Unhappily for him, he blows it and nearly kills his career.
The second plot concerns paraplegic Sandy Larson who arrives just to see her pen pal Mike Banning - a convict in transit on the isle while being transported to another prison. But Banning, refusing to see her, attempts to escape.
