In this episode we learn that D'Argo is 30 cycles old(30 years) and has been a prisioner on Moya for 8.

Many scenes from this episode were re-worked and change from the script due to time constraints.

The scene where Aeryn manually pilots Moya, tin which Moya starbursts is the same shot used in the opening titles.

Crais: And, where are you from, John Crichton?
Aeryn: Sir, he claims to be human from a planet called Earp.

John: You fart helium?
Rygel: Sometimes, when I'm nervous...or angry!

Zhaan: Pilot, does Moya know where we are?
Pilot: Yes, of course. We're someplace else. I'll...get back to you on the specifics

John: They haven't hurt us! How about we show them a little compassion?
Aeryn: Compassion... what is compassion?
John: Compassion? Wha... you're kidding right? It's a feeling you have when you see someone else's pain, and instead of taking advantage of their weakness you help them.
Aeryn: I know this feeling.
John: Yeah, well it is a fairly common human feeling.
Aeryn: I hate it.

Pilot: Those synapses you are tearing out are not wired to the control collar!
D'Argo: Then I shall keep pulling until I find the ones that are!

John: I can't be your kind of hero.
