Paul Leydan (Larraq) moved to the US following his role in Farscape and appeared in the daily soap opera As the World Turns for three years.
| "Cats and Dogs living together" is one of Ben Browder's additions to the script, referencing Bill Murray's line in the first Ghostbusters movie when Venkman is telling the Mayor about the future woes of the city.
| The story for this episode was created by Doug Heyes Junior, who joined the production as consulting producer for the remaining episodes for season 1.
| Visual Effects company Garner MacLennan Design had wanted to create a 3-D animated Marauder for "Exodus for Genesis" earlier in the season, but there wasn't time then.
