Episode Notes
Gigi Edgley (Chiana) joins the regular cast in this episode.

This episode reveals that the Delvians are a sentient plant species.

Francesca Buller (M'Lee) is the real life wife of Ben Browder (John Crichton).

Marton Csokas dispensed with his prosthetic make-up as Br'Nee to play Celeborn in The Lord of the Rings.

This was Francesca Buller's first appearance on Farscape. She next appeared as the treacherous Ro'Na in the "Look at the Princess" trilogy.

At one stage, M'Lee was to make a cameo reappearance in season two's "Won't Get Fooled Again".

There was originally a line in the script explaining where Stark had disappeared to after the end if "The Hidden Memory", but it was cut.

Cast and crew still refer to this episode more regularly as "Monster Girl" which was its nickname during its long development process.

Andrew Prowse nominates this episode as one of his favorites from the first season, because he loved working with Francesca Buller.

Some of the scenes in the cave were filmed in a garage at the back of Fox Studios because of overcrowding on the Farscape studio floor.

M'Lee's animatronics were operated by eight separate puppeteers - each controlling different parts of the mechanism.
