Episode Notes
The script was originally entitled "Re: Union" and was only changed when the tag and teaser scenes were confirmed.
None of Ben Browder's singing scenes in this episode (or, according to him, in any of the Season 2 episodes) were indicated in the script.
After Ben adlibbed singing the title song during filming, director Ian Watson suggested that the prodcuers get the rights to use the song since it was so appropriate.
The sequence of Crichton, Aeryn and D'Argo walking in slow motion in silhouette is one of Claudia Black's favorite images from Farscape.
Gigi Edgley was unable to complete her scene in the film The Monkey's Mask because she was needed back at Farscape to film this episode.
Ian Watson didn't think that the episode was originally going to air as a stand alone season premiere but would follow a rerun of "Family Ties" and be immediately followed by "Mind the Baby."
Virginia Hey described the "Dream a little Dream" as "a mixture of every type on TV - drama, science fiction, a thriller. It's a cartoon; it's comic strip; it's a comedy. It's Farscape."
Steven Rae is a pseudonym for Rockne S. O'Bannon, who completed the script.
The original version of "Re: Union" was aired as a special event on the Sci Fi Channel in June 2001.
