Episode Notes
In the script, the three versions of Crichton were called "Futuro," "Neandro" and Crichton.
Neandro was created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop as a fur suit with a "muscle suit" underneath which would move as required.
The makeup was inspired by Dick Smith's Saturn Award-winning work on the 1980 Ken Russell movie Altered States.
Ben Browder joked that ever since he played Neandro, "I haven't stopped cussing, and I loved having the freedom to crawl around on the floor with Chiana."
Story creators Gabrielle Stanton and Harry Werksman, Jr. were also the show's executive story editors for the first part of the second season based in Los Angeles.
This was director Catherine Millar's first contribution to Farscape, and includes a number of shots taken from unusual vantage points around Moya.
