Episode Notes |

The design for Paroos, the Priest, was based on "Father Jack" from the 1990's BBC America comedy series Father Ted. | The Creature Shop took the opportunity to develop a new flying rig to use for Paroos. It would have been adapted for use by Rygel for the fifth year. | If you look at Paroos's seat in detail, it is supposed to look like the "Grim Reaper" in profile. Paroos is using his arms to control his flight. | The location work was filmed in an area of the Australian bush that had been devastated by fires the previous summer, giving the episode a highly unusual look. | If the dome set here looks a bit familiar, it was previously used as the site of Grayza's seduction of Crichton in "What Was Lost," and D'Argo's room as "The Witch" in "John Quixote." | The song sung by the little boy next to Aeryn's Prowler was actually sung by composer Guy Gross himself, aided by a little digital trickery to make him sound younger. | Claudia Black had worked with director Geoff Bennett seven years earlier on the Australian series A Country Practice. Bennett had wanted to cast her in a feature film that was shooting while she was in Europe. | Among his many other credits, Bruce Spence, who plays Prefect Falaak, appeared alongside Claudia Black in Queen of the Damned, and also worked with Virginia Hey on Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. |
