Fastlane is a fast paced, high octane crime drama that is about two cops, Van Ray of the LAPD and Deaqon Hayes of the NYPD, who are recruited by Lt. Wilhemina Chambers to be a part of the most secretive and deep undercover division of the LAPD. They use forged criminal backgrounds and all of the things in “The Candy Store” they seized to get next to the nastiest and most untouchable criminals around. They not only have to look the part, but sometimes they have to act the part to earn the street-cred that criminals need to see in order to trust them.
Van has a soft heart for the “mark”, people they intend to bring down or use to help them bring down a crime lord. Sometimes his emotions cause him to empathize with the criminals, but in the end his is always on point and ready to do whatever it takes for the case. Van was the partner of Deaq’s brother, Andre, when he was murdered in the line of duty. This caused Deaq to come back to L.A. and eventually team up with Van. Deaq is hard nosed and tries not to let anything get in his way when on a case. Deaq doesn’t take anything from anyone, especially Van.
The Candy Store, a warehouse of all high end materials that they use after they seize them, is also the office of Lt. Wilhemina “Billie” Chamber’s office. Billie leads this small team with an iron fist and won’t take any of Van or Deaq’s crap. Billie is a respected law enforcement officer with a stellar career, but she has had a shady past that she would like kept in the dark.
Fastlane will keep you at the edge of your seat with high speed chases, shootouts, and beautiful women. Don’t blink, you’ll miss something.

Now that Van has gotten the antidote, the caller, Nick McKussick – a former criminal and the first person that Billie trained for The Candy Store before he turned on her, has informed the group that other families have been poisoned and that their participation in his plan is not yet over. Nick orders them to help him steal an incredible amount of precious valuables or the families he poisoned will die.

1x2: Girls Own Juice recap: Van and Deaq are walking into the Candy Store. They're arguing about who has dibs on what from the busts. Deaq claims the new helicopter is his. They walk up to Billie who is waxing a new Mustang in the Candy Store and found out she traded the helicopter for it. The car is Steve McQueen's car from Bullitt, a movie that she claims is the reason she became a cop. Billie won't let them take it out because there's a chance of rain. She takes off and they decide to go to a party in the car anyway. They're out on the road arguing about music when they stop and three guys on dirt bikes fly over the hood of the car. Then a police bike tries and lands in the back windshield. Van and Deaq peel out in pursuit. While pursuing, the bikers fire guns at them and shoot up the car. Van and Deaq are forced to stop and as the bikes speed away, van looks and sees a thong stick out of one of them. He then realizes they're women... read more.1x1: Pilot recap: The episode starts out at a race track. Van and Cassidy are in a Ford GT40 racing around the track. Cassidy pulls out a gun and asks if he's a cop and starts to frisk him. Cut to a flashback of Van and Andre as Andre finds out that Van stole $100K from evidence to help them with their sting and Andre is completely doesn't like it. Back inside the car, Cassidy is getting close to the wire so Van spins the car out and that slings her back into her seat. They get out of the car and Van drops the wire. They make a deal for the 100K for the car. As the deal is finishing, the cops rush in to make the bust. A gun fight ensues and Andre is gunned down by a sniper in the press box. Cassidy grabs the money, gets into her car, and bails. Van sees this and hops into the GT40 and chases her around the track.
