Episode Quotes

Billie: Get there and give him the money.
Deaq: We got 50 women waitin' for us. You think we're not in a hurry, Billie?

Deaq: Before I make one move, I know the play, the game and every player. That's who I am. Who are you?
Van: Who am I?! Do you,... do you see a ball anywhere? Do you hear a whistle? NO! Okay? This isn't a game, dude. It's not game! Who are you!

Nathan: Today is gonna be the most that girl's ass is ever gonna be worth, 100 grand to whoever tags her.

Capt. Parish: Are they cops that look like criminals or cops that act like criminals.

Bree: That guy, Van, did you get him?
Billie: No, no we didn't.
Bree: Ya know, I always knew Nathan was a low life and I was always afraid Mel had no spine, but that guy, Van,... he was worse than either of them. I want as part of my deal - if you ever get him, tell me,... so I can bake a cake.

(About Van and Deaq breaking the law.)
Capt. Parish: We both know this was minor. We both know something much worse isn't just possible,... it's likely.

Episode Goofs

When Billie Returns fire against Tommy, she is shooting from below the hood of Tommy's Expedition and still causes holes in the hood as though she was shooting from right above it. It is impossible for her weapon to penetrate the hood from the angle at which she fired her weapon.

Billie, Bree, and another cop are being pinned down behind a car by Tommy and his fully automatic rifle from a higher position, yet the bullets aren't causing holes or dents in the car's hood.

Cultural References

At the opium lounge, Van shoots and the camera follows the bullet through a lava lamp and a hukka much like the Korn video for 'Freak on a Leash'.

Deaq: Always caps of with you humming a Beach Boys song.

The Beach Boys were a musical icon in the 1960's and 70's and are still beloved to this day. They made their mark in the industry with rock & roll songs with a southern California vibe.

At the end of the episode, Van and Deaq put on boxing gloves and begin to circle each other just before sparing. The episode ends when the both take a shot at each other at the same time. This is almost an exact match to the end of Rocky III where Apollo and Rocky sparred at the end of the movie to see who'd win one last time.
