Father Ted (20 Fans)
 |
"Father Ted" Summary |
| |
|
Father Ted is a hilarious comedy about 3 priests and their housekeeper living in the parochial house on Craggy Island. All 3 Priests were put on Craggy Island as punishment for separate incidents. Father Ted Crilly is a middle aged grey haired priest. He was put on the island as punishment for laundering money from a charity and spending it at a casino in Las Vegas. Father Dougal McGuire is the youngest priest of them all. He is 24 years old and has little idea about how the world works. He was put on the island after an incident involving nuns, but it never is really made clear what happened. Father Jack Hackett is the elderly priest who just sits in his chair and shouts abuse. He has the catchphrase 'Drink' which is one amongst many single syllable commands he can shout out in order to get his needs fulfilled. Father Jack was put on the island as punishment for a wedding he did, but it is not made clear what happened there either.
Together, these 3 priests and Mrs Doyle, whose first name is unknown, provide great comedy entertainment, as they find themselves trying to cope in a vast array of comical situations.
