"Filthy Rich (US)" Summary |
| |
A parody of prime time soaps (namely "Dallas"), "Filthy Rich" centered on the Beck clan, a rich Southern family who'd just lost their patriarch, Big Guy. Before his death, Big Guy recorded "hundreds of hours" worth of a "video-will" in which he instructed his family members on things to do so that they could receive their inheritance. First and foremost, they had to "cohabitate in peace, love and harmony" with Big Guy's illegitimate son, Wild Bill Westchester, and his wife, Bootsie. Unfortunately, the cut-throat Becks abhorred their new found trashy relatives... so hi-jinks ensued.
