Flash and his newest enemy Baylin decide to join forces to fight her "owner" Tyrus whom Ming has promised his freedom if he can find and kill Flash.
That's the story in a nutshell. I haven't got a chance to see the serials yet, even though I did see them a while back. With that said, however, I remember the serial having very dated effects as what expected from something produced in that period. It's evident that their not sticking to the original stories as of yet even though they do have the original characters (Flash, Dale, Ming, his daughter etc).
Anyways, on to this episode for what it was I thought it was fun. The actress who plays Baylin, Karen Cliche, I remember from MutantX. She is extremely hot and very easy on the eyes. She's an ok actress. The actor playing Ming John Ralston is an ok actor. I find that no matter who plays these big roles people will criticize them no matter what. My critique would be on the story and lack of substance but the acting isn't too shabby. The writing and dialogue are also clearly meant to be campy and adolescent at times. This episode was ok, parts of it which were meant to be serious just came across as being intentionally funny. There also could have been a bit more action. Still I guess you can't complain much it's clear that series isn't up to the level of the other SciFi series on right now (it seems to be more or less on the same level as Painkiller Jane.) I'll probably keep on watching either way. I like Karen Cliche
