i hated the first hour(it was dreadfully slow), but the last 30 minutes picked up and i kinda liked it. for me it all hinges on the next episode to determine if i'll stick around or not. |

Was looking forward to seeing what the sci-fi channel could do with Flash Gordon but this is dreadful.

Painful to watch. I mean that literally.
No one can really think the 1980 movie was "good," but at least it was *fun*, and it's a guilty pleasure for that reason. This series is the opposite of fun, except "dull" doesn't begin to describe it.
The tone is wrong. The characters are wrong. It's possible this series is made of anti-matter. If we only had dilithium crystals, we could build a warp drive!
