Flipper: SOS Dolphin
Porter receives orders from Washington to close the park. He then learns from visiting ichthyotoxicologist Dr. Rockwell that the preserve has been invaded by poisonous scorpion fish. Dr. Rockwell descends in a two-man submarine to investigate. Leaving the sub for closer examination of the sea floor, Rockwell is stung by one of the fish. He regains the sub but sinks into unconsciousness. Flipper leads Porter to the sub and Rockwell is rescued.

Analysis
Though Flipper was a children's show, adult elements were occasionally introduced. In this episode, the character of 'Grandma Hadley' is completely superfluous to the plot and appears to have been introduced to suggest Porter had a romantic life.
In one scene, Bud appears to be either confusing the Biblical Moses with the artist Grandma Moses or to be humorously playing with the name 'Moses'. This is the only first season moment when anything even vaguely approaching religion is touched upon.
