The Gulf Between - Recap

Bud dislikes his father's friend Kathryn -- he fears his father may marry her and their lives will change drastically. Porter and Kathryn go fishing. They come upon Bud and invite him aboard but Bud declines and goes his way. A gale rises. Bud takes refuge in a cave at the edge of the shore and sends Flipper for help. Porter and Kathryn follow Flipper to the entrance of Bud's cave. Bud appears at a distance in deep water struggling to swim. Kathryn dives into the water and rescues him. Bud changes his feelings about Kathryn -- he's glad she's a friend.
