Not Necessarily Gospel - Recap

One day Porter discovers lobster traps on the preserve. He returns to the site that night to nab the criminals. They escape but damage their boat. Porter's search for the boat leads him to Hap Gorman's marine carpentry shop. Hap has repaired the boat but the poachers have threatened him with death if he reveals their whereabouts. Bud sets out to capture the criminals himself. The poachers disable his boat and leave him floundering in the water miles from the shore. Flipper brings Hap to Bud's rescue. Humbled by the boy's bravery, Hap tells Porter what he knows about the poachers. Together they nab the criminals.
