Forever Knight chronicles the life and times of Detective Nick Knight (Geraint Wyn Davies), a 13th century vampire living in present-day Toronto, Canada. Tortured by the guilt of all the years of murders and other evil deeds he committed, he decides to become a homicide detective in an attempt to pay back society for his sins and to hopefully become mortal again.

Following the deaths of Schanke, Capt. Cohen, Vachon, Janette and others close to him in the span of a single year, Nick finds himself at a personal crossroads. LaCroix offers Nick an ultimatum, either leave with him now, or be alone forever. On the other side of the coin, Natalie asks Nick to bring her across to the vampire world, so they can be together for eternity. Nick loves Natalie, but can he bear to inflict his curse upon her?

I could start by saying that this is by no means the rum of the mill vampire show. It predates Buffy and shows a different side of the vampire, one we are more accustomed to from Anne Rice's novels. Read more
