Episode Summary

Mac is bummed to find out that he must give up his best friend- an imaginary friend named Bloo. It's then that Mac discovers Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, a home for imaginary friends to stay until they get adopted. They take a tour of the home and meet some of the colorful residents including Mr. Herriman, Eduardo, Wilt , Coco and many others. Bloo is given permission to stay there, but has a special arrangement, in which as long as Mac comes to visit him daily, he cannot be adopted.

Episode Title

The title "House of Bloos" is a pun on a chain of music halls and restaurants called "House of Blues"

Pac-Man

The first part of the chase between Bloo and the head of the Extremaurus is similar to the video-game series "Pac-Man"
