Sgt. Mike Cosgrove, voiced by Edward Asner
Sgt. Mike Cosgrove is a member of the local police force, in which he often assists Freakazoid by supplying him with information he needs to find criminals. Despite his devotion to his job, Officer Cosgrove tends to like hanging out with Freakazoid and the two often shirk their responsibilities to visit various tourist spots, such as carnivals and ice cream shops. Whenever somebody annoys him, Officer Cosgrove often tells people to cut it out, in which many individuals, even super villains, tend to inexplicably follow his commands without question. Officer Cosgrove is one of the few people in the world who knows of Freakazoid’s secret identity; though he does everything he can in order to keep it a secret, as he really appreciates Freakazoid’s efforts to make the community a better place. |
