Coach Taylor experiences financial hardships trying to keep the Lions afloat, while Buddy Garrity faces social ones with the Dillon Panther boosters after the Luke Cafferty move. Luke also has trouble adjusting to playing for Coach Taylor and feeling like he isn't getting his chance. Tami is worried about Julie and her issue with her faith, while Julie is more concerned about her relationship with Matt, who is doing his best to impress the grumpy artist he is interning with.

And I'll tell you why we're pushing the car, because it's a fun football fun raiser. And we're all going to have fun so, so we're all going to put smiles on our faces, right about now. Tim: I'm trying, some are taking it

Tim: Yeah?!
Becky: Morning! I made you toast.
Tim: You serious
Becky: Yeah, what's wrong with it, eat it
Tim: What time is it
Becky: Morning, hé and since your up can you give me a ride to school.
Tim: No!
Becky: Come on, put some pants on, watch your head
(Becky pushes Tim's head back into the trailer and closes the door hard)
Becky: Hurry up! I'll be waiting in the truck.
