• 'Friday Night Lights': 'This is the game you're going to talk about' |
One more to go. "Friday Night Lights" fans have been through this before. As the third season of "Friday Night Lights" comes to an end, the season finale faces the distinct possibility of being the final send-off for the series. And with many of this year's principal characters going off to college, this seems, perhaps, a fine time to call it a day.

I don't know how to vote ... honestly I think there is more story to tell ... I like so many of the characters and I hardly even miss Smash & Jason Street anymore. They did a good job phasing them out and they can do the same thing next year with the current crop. Riggins and Cheer-Chick (I can never remember her name) are going to college in Texas, so they can always be nearby. Who knows where Tyra's going to college ... though we all know she'll get in somewhere, probably in Texas.
Plus all the adult characters will still be there, JD McCoy will have gotten a year older and his parents even madder at Coach Taylor ... there are more stories to tell I think. I'd still watch the show.
On the other hand ... it IS A good place to end the series.
One question about this past episode ... were those Jason Street's cleats that Tim Riggins went back out onto the Longhorns field and left in the endzone? |

I think this was a very good end to the series.
Yes they can put more characters on, but like with Grey's Anatomy, at some point, you either kill it, or you ruin it or make a success of it.
I personally think it should end here, it was a great show, loved it even if in South Africa, we don't have football like the game in FNL. |
