Chandler Bing [S01-S10], played by Matthew Perry

Chandler Muriel Bing was Ross' roommate in college, he later moved to New York City where he lived in an apartment across the hall from Monica. When his previous roommate moved out, Joey moved in. In Season 6 Chandler moved across the hall to live with Monica, who he then married at the end of Season 7. In the final season Chandler and Monica discovered that they were unable to conceive children, and they decided to adopt; in the last episode Chandler and Monica adopt a pair of twins.
Throughout the series Chandler was particularly famous for his wisecracks and constant jokes.
  Joey Tribbiani [S01-S10], played by Matt LeBlanc

Joey comes from an Italian American Family of 8 children, of which he is the only boy. Joey is an actor and had the role od Dr. Drake Ramoray on the soap Days of Our Lives and after he lost the role he struggled to be cast in other roles. Joey shares an apartment with Chandler Bing, thought he has moved out a few times, but he always came back, after Chandler moved out to move in with Monica, Rachel late became his room mate, who he had a brief relationship with at a time. Joey is a womanizer, and has on many occations been in trouble with the ladies. Joey was also ordained as a minister and has married Monica and Chandler and Phoebe and Mike.
  Monica Geller-Bing [S01-S10], played by Courteney Cox

Monica is the younger sister of Ross, he high school friend is Rachel Green and her former roomate is Phoebe Buffay. Monica decided to let Rachel move into her apartment when Rachel ran away from her wedding and ended up in Central Perk. In high school Monica was obese, but deceded to loss weight when she overheard Ross' college roomate Chandler Bing slag her off at thankgiving when they were younger. Monica had a relationship with Richard, a friend of her mum and dad and later dated Richard's son. Monica slept with Chandler in London and they soon got together, they later got married and adopted twins and named them Erica and Jack.
Phoebe Buffay-Hannigan [S01-S10], played by Lisa Kudrow

Ditsy, goofy Phoebe has had a difficult life. Orphaned at a young age, she knows the mean life of city streets, but she doesn't let it bother her a bit. She takes the tragedies in her life and writes goofy songs about them. She has been roomates with both Monica and Rachel, but she enjoyed living with Rachel more, because she feels Rachel is more "easygoing". She once helped her half-brother Frank and his wife, by acting as a surrogate mother and carrying their triplets. She was married to a gay ice dancer so he could get a green card. Though through most of the series, Phoebe didn't keep a boyfriend for more than a few episodes, she finally married her true love, Mike.
  Rachel Green [S01-S10], played by Jennifer Aniston

Rachel had ran away from her wedding, she arrived in the Central Perk coffeehouse, her highschool friend Monica Gellar and decided to let Rachel move in with her. Monica's brother Ross had a crush on Rachel ever since highschool, they soon got together and have an on-off relationship for a time after. One night Rachel and Ross got drunk and they slept together, Rachel got pregnant and later gave birth to a baby girl who she named Emma, Ross planned to propose to her but Joey ruined it when he found the ring, Rachel then thought Joey was proposing to her. Joey and Rachel once had a brief relationship but Ross was never really happy with it and they split up. Rachel was offered a job in Paris and decided to take, Ross didn'd want her to go but was to scared to say anything, at the the last minute when she was about to board the plane, Ross showed up and begged her not to go, she went anyway and when Ross thought she was gone forever, she showed up and they got back together.
Ross Geller [S01-S10], played by David Schwimmer

Ross is a dorky, yet endearing scientist and teacher. He is usually single, but he was married to Carol (a lesbian who gave birth to his son) and to Emily, a British gal who dumped him after he said Rachel's name at their wedding. He continuously pines for Rachel (Jennifer Aniston). Ross lives in the apartment building across the street from Monica which once belonged to Ugly Naked Guy.
