Episode discussion for: 01x16 | Unleashed (Apr 14, 2009)
Another great episode. It was nice that Charlie got more of a main role than just being a background character, and the scenes with his wife were very well done.
The larvae hatching in the dead body was totally gross. |

Eh, another filler episode. We get another possibly conspiracy angle with Kelvin Genetics, even though they didn't seem to have anything to do with the events here. Not every episode has to do with the invasion, but sheesh, talk about blowing off the momentum they had leading up to the break.
Why are they even paying Blair Brown to be a show star? |

i agree with... both...?
i do though. i've been a fan of Kirk Acevedo for awhile. loved him in his arc on Fastlane. and he was better in Band of Brothers. he needs to do more and i'm glad to see he at least got this.
i'm a huge fan of serial shows, so i like a long arc. sometimes i'm not sure they know where this show is going yet. that happens with ever present FOX "Axe" looming at all times. |

Apparently the actress who played Charlie's wife is Kirk Acevedo's wife in real life. No wonder the scenes were so good.

I really liked him in Band of Brothers too. He was great in Oz as well. |
