Ed is in complete shock seeing the chimera's blood splattered all over the wall in the alley. Roy Mustang though just tells him to get over it and move on. Soon Al discovers the research on the Philosopher's Stone. Then after Mustang won't let Ed try to help find Nina's killer, he runs off to try and find him on his own. Later Winry comes to Central to congratulate Ed. At lunch, Ed and Hughes are discussing the matter. Winry waits outside for Ed until she is fascinated by a food truck. When Ed comes out, she is gone. Ed soon realizes this was from the serial killer, will he be able to save Winry and himself when trapped in Barry the Chopper's slaughter house or suffer the fate of his victims?

Ed: (about Hughes's comment on favors) Yeah, well, you still owe me for the train and delivering your kid, so what have you got? | Al: It seems Tucker was interested in something called the Philosopher's Stone.
Ed: Well, whoop-de-flippin'-do. |
