Philip J. Fry, voiced by Billy West
Fry (born Philip J. Fry) is a 25 year old from the 20th Century. After dropping out of college, he got a job as a delivery boy. On New Year's Eve 1999, he delivered a pizza to a cryogenics lab, only to find out when he got there that it was a cruel prank (later to be revealed a clever scheme by Nibbler to save the world from the Brains), and fell into a cryogenic chamber, which froze him for 1000 years. He was unfrozen on New Years 2999. He soon gets a job from his great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great nephew Professor Farnsworth as a delivery boy for Planet Express. He soon becomes friends with his co-workers Bender and Leela (whom he later develops feelings for). Fry quickly adjusts to his new futuristic lifestyle and finds he fits in better in the future than the past. |
