Casting: Actor Michiel Huisman has replaced Ed Skrein as 'Daario Naharis' from this episode on.

Episode Title: 'Two Swords' refers to the two Valyrian swords that Tywin Lannister had made from Eddard Stark's great-sword Ice.

Trivia: This is the first episode of the show that will be simulcast in the UK on the channel 'Sky Atlantic' due to the time difference, the episode airing at 2am.

Casting: Many believed Brian Fortune, who played an unnamed Night's Watch Officer, was Bowen Marsh. However, in 'Mockingbird' (Season 4, Episode 7), he is revealed to be Othell Yarwyck when Alliser Thorne addresses him as "First Builder Yarwyck".

Dennis McKeever, who also played an unnamed Night's Watch Officer, was originally thought to be Othell Yarwyck. His character's identity is still unknown.

Episode Quotes
Jaime: Magnificent. Looks fresh forged.
Tywin: It is.
Jaime: No one's made a Valyrian steel sword since the doom of Valyria.
Tywin: There are three living smiths that know how to work Valyrian steel. The finest of them was in Volantis. He came here to King's Landing at my invitation.
Jaime: Where did you get this much Valyrian steel?
Tywin: From someone who no longer had need of it.

Sansa: Will you pardon me, my lord? I'd like to visit the godswood.
Tyrion: Of course, of course. Prayer can be helpful, I hear.
Sansa: I don't pray any more. It's the only place I can go where people don't talk to me.

Bronn: Some accomplished diplomacy, that was. Now where?
Tyrion: We must find Prince Oberyn before he kills somebody, or several somebody's.
Bronn: How do you plan on finding a single Dornishman in a city this big?
Tyrion: You're famous for f--king half of Westeros, you've just arrived at the capital after two weeks of bad road, where would you go?
Bronn: I'd probably go to sleep, but I'm getting old.

Jaime: What do you want me to do? Kidnap my sister in law and take her where? Where would she be safer than here?
Brienne: Look me in the eye and tell me that you think she'll be safe in King's Landing.
Jaime: Are you sure we're not related? Ever since I've returned every Lannister I've seen has been a miserable pain in my ass. Maybe you're a Lannister too. You've got the hair for it, you've got the looks.
