As the news of gargoyles spreads on a rapid scale, the gargoyles must face the suddenly aware world. An anti-gargoyle group forms called the Quarrymen and plots to rid Manhattan of the gargoyles. Goliath must make a tough decision for the good of the clan.

The entire episode of The Journey is currently being rereleased in a comic book form -- the start of Greg Weisman's continuation of the Gargoyles Saga. He currently plans on ignoring the rest of The Goliath Chronicles.

According to Greg Weisman, it was Taro, the creator of the Museum of Gargoyles in Ishimora, that hired Vinnie.

A subtle bit of irony, as Vinnie thinks he's moving to a country without gargoyles. On the contrary, he's moving to Japan, where the quiet little town Ishimora exists. Ishimora was a town visited by the World Travelors in the episode "Bushido."
