While the second volume of Season II has been put on hold indefinitely, creator Greg Weisman recently rambled in the Ask Greg Comment Room about the planned schedule of the current Gargoyles comic.

Though Gargoyles #3 has yet to be approved by Disney, SLG has just liscensed the six-issue spinoff to be known as "Bad Guys."

As fans may or may not know, "Bad Guys" was the closest spinoff to be approved by Disney back in the 90's, the only spinoff that was successful enough to produce a leica reel. This real, sans the animation, has been used at the Annual Gathering of the Gargoyles Radio Play.

And now, it will be the first comic spinoff of the Gargoyles franchise!

According to Weisman, if all goes well, Bad Guys should be released this October and be a bi-monthly series staggered with the original Gargoyles comic. Based on its success, more spinoffs are planned.
