Garrow's Law: Tales From The Old Bailey is set in Georgian London and is based on real legal cases from the later part of the 18th century. Each episode sees Garrow and Southouse attempting to discover the truth about certain crimes that have been committed.
Episode Info
A vicious riot ends up breaking out on polling day in the Westminster constituency and an old man ends up being brutally clubbed to death. A black man called Nicholson ends up standing on trial for the man's murder. Garrow is upset after Sarah leaves him. George Pinnock shows up with news about the case and manages to get Garrow to denfend the man. After it is proved in court that Nicholson is completely innocent, Garrow jumps into action determined to uncover the truth.
