Sam is encouraged by McBain to take a step back from her continued search for Jason. Tracy learns from Monica that Edward's health is deteriorating. Robert explains to Patrick that there were some continuating circumstances which forced him to miss Robin's funeral. Sam makes it clear to McBain that they can't be friends unless he supports her in her belief that Jason is still alive. Sonny wants Alexis to do whatever it takes to make sure that A.J. stays away from Michael. Todd informs Carly that he had to give Connie her job back for the time being. Tracy attempts to improve her father's spirits by telling him that E.L.Q. is doing well. After she breaks into tears she is consoled by Monica. Sonny wants Shawn's help in dealing with his situation with Connie. Monica has to break the news to the family that Edward has passed away.
