Their interpretations of the EVPs have been dubious in the past but they just threw out all auditory logic in the “Gettysburg” episode.
Those things sounded nothing like the text that appeared on the screen.

I think they're also playing fast and loose with the definition of “distinctly” regarding the backpack and rifle of the supposed Civil War soldier.
I also love how the figure “vanished” instead of, oh I don't know, walked into the woods.

I will grant them one thing about the figure that might be considered odd.
The bottom half, or legs if you will, did (to me) seem a little darker than the top but it did seem to be all one color indicating one temperature, but a reasonable answer for that would because of the distance the FLIR simply wasn't able to accurately separate temperature variances.
