On the second-season opener, The TAPS team gets a call from a representative of the Myrtles Plantation, located it New Orleans, to investigate claims of paranormal activity that surround the plantation, such as: a wandering figure claimed t be the spirit of a slave, seeing children's reflections in a mirror; a Confederate soldier by the pond; and the ghost of a murdered man who died on a staircase trying to reach his wife before he died.
During the investigation, the team picks up temperature changes on a stair way on a thermal imaging camera, which clearly shows something in front of them; on a different location, a camera picks up an image that appears to be a human-like torso passing in front if them. Also, another TAPS member detected some EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) in another room; also he thinks he sees something move right after he detects the EVPs. As he sees this, he calls for the spirit to come out, and almost immediately hears some strange nicking noises. Later, while the footage is being reviewed, a camera in a slave cabin picked up a lamp that was moving to a side across the table very very slowly, but Jason and Grant dismiss this evidence as when they return the next day they seem to try to recreate this by moving the lamps cord, and determine that it could have been anyone in the room.
TAPS conclude that despite there is enough paranormal activity to call the Myrtles Plantation "one of the most haunted places in America."
