Upon buying items from a homeowner for her antique shop, Melinda encounters the spirit of an angry young boy, who she later learns is the homeowner's dead son. After witnessing life-threatening behavior against his mother and baby sister, Melinda realizes that the young boy needs help releasing anger toward his mother and decides to take on the challenge of helping him communicate with her so he can find closure and cross over.
Christine, who is played by Lori Laughlin, is a fashion designer. Lori Laughlin also played a fashion designer in the now cancelled WB show, Summerland.
The ghost who helped Melinda in the rest home appears at the end of the episode at Melinda's house and looks very angry with her

Jim: I'll be happy to have a whole brood of baby ghost busters with you.
Daniel: I grew up with nothing too. I just had a lot of stuff.
Andrea: I take it not in a cute Pixar Toy Story kind of way? (After Melinda tells her about the toys moving in Daniel's room)
Christine: Are you comfortable with a baby?
Melinda: Hey, I bought a car from all the baby-sitting money I earned in high school.
Christine: I guess that means yes.
Jim: Your heart tells you when you’re ready, not your bank account. (referring to having a baby together)
Melinda: I'm just not there yet
