Episode Quotes
Emily: Gerta, did I fire you?
Gerta: No, Ma'am.
Emily: Everything is off tonight.
Lorelai: What is the disease called when you are afraid of spiders?
Carolyn: Arachnophobia.
Lorelai: Is there a disease for being scared of a person who's scared of spiders?
Carolyn: No, I don't think there is a scientific name for it.
Lorelai: How about 'Arachnophobia-phobia'?
Carolyn: What about Max? Did you love him?
Lorelai: No, I didn't. I wanted to, but I didn't. I don't think I really loved anybody until Luke.
Lorelai: (to Carolyn about Luke) I saw this guy in front of me who was a real man. He was solid, and he was strong. He would protect me, but he got me. I knew all these things when we started dating, but in that moment when I realized how much he cared for Rory...that was it. All of a sudden I was ready.
Rory: I've outdone myself photographically; every one of these is a keeper.
Logan: Okay, that's a close-up of my naked butt, that's not a keeper.
Rory: You're right, that's a screen-saver.
Luke: We can't just run off and get married!
Lorelai: Why not Luke? Don't you love me!?
Luke: Of course I love you!
Lorelai: But I love you Luke. I love you!
Luke: I have April to consider!
Lorelai: You need to figure out how April fits into our lives, not the other way around!
Gigi: (about Lorelai who's in Christopher's bed) Who's that?
Christopher: That's your Auntie Lorelai, honey.
Gigi: Is she sick?
Christopher: Oh no, no, Gigi, she's fine.
Gigi: I don't like to wear my nightgown to bed when I'm sick either!
Lorelai: No, I'm not waiting. It's now or never!
Luke: I don't like ultimatums.
Lorelai: I don't like Mondays, but unfortunately, they come around eventually.
