Stars Hollow becomes overrun with troubadours when Stars Hollow's own troubadour is discovered by a record label. Rory, the night before Logan leaves for London, throws a huge party for him, but the wild party is overshadowed by the fact that he'll be leaving the next day. Meanwhile, Emily and Richard attempt to set Christopher up with a beautiful woman during Friday night dinner. Later, Lorelai confronts Luke about their wedding postponement and issues him a tear-filled ultimatum.
This is the first episode in which Lorelai tells a man that she loves them.
Series Executive Producer Daniel Palladino makes a cameo appearance in this episode as the troubadour who sings "A beaver ate my thumb..."
This is the last episode where series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband, Daniel, will serve as executive producers.

Keiko Agena (Lane), Yanic Truesdale (Michel) and Liza Weil (Paris) do not appear in this episode.

Emily: Gerta, did I fire you?
Gerta: No, Ma'am.

Lorelai: What is the disease called when you are afraid of spiders?
Lorelai: Is there a disease for being scared of a person who's scared of spiders?
Carolyn: No, I don't think there is a scientific name for it.
Lorelai: How about 'Arachnophobia-phobia'?
Carolyn: What about Max? Did you love him?
Lorelai: No, I didn't. I wanted to, but I didn't. I don't think I really loved anybody until Luke.
Lorelai: (to Carolyn about Luke) I saw this guy in front of me who was a real man. He was solid, and he was strong. He would protect me, but he got me. I knew all these things when we started dating, but in that moment when I realized how much he cared for Rory...that was it. All of a sudden I was ready.
Rory: I've outdone myself photographically; every one of these is a keeper.
Logan: Okay, that's a close-up of my naked butt, that's not a keeper.
Rory: You're right, that's a screen-saver.
Luke: We can't just run off and get married!
Lorelai: Why not Luke? Don't you love me!?
Luke: Of course I love you!
Lorelai: But I love you Luke. I love you!
Luke: I have April to consider!
Lorelai: You need to figure out how April fits into our lives, not the other way around!
Gigi: (about Lorelai who's in Christopher's bed) Who's that?
Christopher: That's your Auntie Lorelai, honey.
Gigi: Is she sick?
Christopher: Oh no, no, Gigi, she's fine.
Gigi: I don't like to wear my nightgown to bed when I'm sick either!
Lorelai: No, I'm not waiting. It's now or never!
Luke: I don't like ultimatums.
Lorelai: I don't like Mondays, but unfortunately, they come around eventually.
