Keiko Agena (Lane) does not appear in this episode.
This is the first episode in which a town meeting occurs that Lorelai isn't present for.
(to Sookie and Michel about the smell)
Lorelai: I don't think we are having a communal massive heart attack.
Michel: If all the air around you smelled like pickles and there was no where to run, no where to hide, would you find that at all bothersome?
(Christopher grabs for the remote)
Christopher: Gimme that.
Lorelai: No, no.
Lorelai: No! Not until you explain your choices.
Lorelai: The View, Girlfriends, Sabado Gigante? Who controls this thing, you or Pedro Almodovar?
Christopher: It's the nanny!
Lorelai: Sure, it's a likely story.
Christopher: Gimme, gimme, gimme.
Rory: Why are you smiling at me?
Logan: You are very cute when you're jealous.
Rory: And most of all I hate the fact that in a few seconds you will be in that car leaving me again.
Logan: That's a hell of a long way to go just to say I miss you.
Rory: Any thoughts or response?
Logan: I miss you too Ace.
Rory: Five words. You only used five words.
Logan: Yeah, well, I'm not done yet.
(Logan kisses her)
Lorelai: Uh, tennis balls.
Christopher: I actually have tennis balls.
Lorelai: Penn or Wilson?
Christopher: You're joking?
Lorelai: Paul Anka's must be Penn, they must be new, they must be green, not orange and green, just green.
Near the end of the episode, Richard throws his napkin down twice when he gets up to see Emily's jail photos on Lorelai's camera phone.
During Friday night dinner, Emily mentions that Christopher and Lorelai once stole and drank a 1975 wine that they had been saving for 10 years, which would mean that they drank it in 1985. However, Rory was born in 1984 and Lorelai and Christopher split up once Lorelai ran away with Rory, making it highly unlikely that the two of them drank the bottle together.
