Episode Quotes |

Christopher: So going out with Jackson is important because ...
Lorelai: Jackson is loved, Jackson is respected. If you are in with Jackson, you are in with Stars Hollow. | Anna: Why are you here, Luke?
Luke: You know, you're always telling me I can't do this with your daughter, and I can't do that with your daughter. Well, she's not just your daughter, Anna. She's my daughter, too!
Anna: Luke.
Luke: No! I know I wasn't around for all those years, but you know that was your decision. That was your choice, Anna, and frankly it was a damn lousy one, okay? I didn't get to see her be born, or take her first steps, or take her to her first day of school. None of it! And I can never get any of that back; it's gone! But that's not going to happen anymore, that I can guarantee you.
Anna: What are you saying?
Luke: That she's my kid, all right? She's our kid, she's not just yours. And I am not going to let you treat me this way! I am her father. God, why do I even have to say that? I mean, April and I, we have this relationship, okay? And you can't just decide things; that's not how this works! I mean, we have to make decisions together, decisions about April, and I will fight you. I will fight you for that, Anna, if I have to. I have rights. I'm her father, and I have rights! | Jackson: Yep, if you need eggplants I'm your man.
Christopher: Well, I guess I have to fire my other guy then. | Christopher: You left a message on the machine?
Richard: She certainly did.
Emily: I come home and I push play on the machine, and what do I hear? Between a message from Lily Margalis about her fund raising money for children and one from my tennis pro, but my very own daughter telling me guess what? She’s married!
Lorelai: Mom I’m sorry, I just --
Emily: Why just talk about it, why not share it?
Lorelai: No, no, hey, hey!
(Emily hits play)
Lorelai: (on the answering machine) Hey! Just wanted you guys to know, Chistopher and I are back, from Paris. Gigi's all set and, uh, we just ended up, uh, getting married — so anyway, see you Friday. Bye.
Emily: Isn't that lovely? | (as people are taking down the knit-a-thon decorations)
Taylor: Be careful, just because its decorative, doesn’t mean is not sharp. | (about Jackson and Christopher's "date")
Rory: Ah cute, a mandated man-date. |
