Maya jumps into the single social scene by going on a blind date with Dr. Darren Isaac (guest star Orlando Jones) and making the moves on her new sexy neighbor (guest star Rockmond Dunbar). Meanwhile, Joan tries to score points with the boss (Anne-Marie Johnson) by hosting an intense book club meeting comprised of an overly elite group of women (guest stars Bebe Moore Campbell, Jackie Collins, Suzanne de Passe, Marsha Clark). Later, William takes Monica on a luxurious vacation to try to soften the blow when he confesses that he left the law firm."
