After following William to New York City to confess her true feelings for him, Joan quickly chickens out when she sees him with his ex-girlfriend Monica, and to make matters worse, Joan gets chased around Manhattan by Trina (guest star Omarosa Stallworth), who mistakenly accuses Joan of having an affair with her girlfriend. Meanwhile, Lynn pays her birth father an unexpected visit to learn why he abandoned her as a child. Later, Toni tries to stop the airplane from leaving, convinced that her husband Todd will be coming home with her.
